06/11/2015: after Paris, the plan is to have a relaxing day in Versailles, where Nico lives. I woke up late and left his place around lunchtime, looking for a nice place to eat before heading to the Palace of Versailles, former royal residence of a few French kings (before we started cutting their heads off). I had a nice walk in the city of Versailles then around the Palace and its gardens. Later that day I went to Paris again, this time to wait for Nico after his shift: tonight we are going to Liège in Belgium, where Seb (another friend from high school) is waiting for us. The weekend was not much touristic, but rather a good old friend’s reunion and the only picture I could find is from the sample of Belgium beers waiting for us when we arrived…
06/11/2015: après Paris, je me suis prévu une journée tranquille à Versailles, où vit Nico. Je me suis levé tard et j’ai quitté son appartement vers midi pour chercher un endroit sympa où déjeuner avant de me diriger vers le Palais de Versailles, ancienne résidence de plusieurs rois de France (avant que l’on ne se mette à leur couper la tête). Je me suis bien baladé dans la ville puis autour du palais et dans ses jardins. Un peu plus tard je suis retourné à Paris, cette fois pour retrouver Nico à la sortie du boulot: ce soir nous partons à Liège en Belgique où nous attend Seb (un autre ami du lycée). Le weekend fut plus un rassemblement de vieux amis que vraiment touristique, et la seule photo que j’aie est celle de l’échantillon de bières belges qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée…
